Smashbox, Venice, California

LMA collaborated with this LA-based cosmetics brand on their first free-standing store, located on Venice’s hip Abbot Kinney Blvd. The space, as much photo studio as store, is an Instagram-ready experience for shoppers to experiment with the product. Offerings include virtual makeup try-ons, professional head shots, and custom makeup color mixing with personalized packaging using the onsite 3D printer. A wide-open industrial storefront reveals a flexible studio space that’s easily transformed for frequent events.
