Forestburgh Residence

A family came to LMA looking to redesign their vintage 1950’s cabin, which required a fine balance of preserving the original feel of their cherished getaway while expanding and renovating for better organization of spaces and increased natural light.  Original spaces with small windows and an inward focus were revamped to include large areas of glass and multiple decks to enjoy the lake view. Interior spaces are cleanly detailed with locally sourced materials which complete the warm aesthetic of this calm forest retreat.
